Guidelines for Searching

The database contains information on 15th and 16th century prints from the South-Western area of Tibet. It is currenbtly searchable for:

• Title
• Personal Name
• Place Name
• Text Number

For the Title , Personal Name and Place Name fields, you can search in Wylie transliteration. You can input the entire title, part of the title or only some words of a text and a list of entries that matches with your enquiry will be displayed.

For the Text Number field, if you have the shelfmark of a text, you can search for that in the database.
